I looked at the prices, there's not such much difference between the solo and the duo.
So I think it's better to purchase the vu+ duo?
I didn't find firmware as openpli for the vu+ solo, but I can be wrong.

A question : is there a possibility to have a antenna in and out like for example my dreambox 7020 has? This to connect the receiver with a second tv

I don't think there is a direct way to do it, as there is no 'out' port.

You could use a HDMI splitter, depends a bit on how far apart the TVs are.

The distance is to far for that and 2nd tv doesn't have hdmi entrence?
Is there a other undirect possibility (for example scart to antenna out port)?

How about connecting the VCR scart of the Duo to a wireless video sender. Something like this:

The 'receiver' end would be connected to the scart on your second TV.

I've not got one, so I'm not recommending that one in particular, but that should do what you want.

I have something like that connected to my db 7020 yet, but only to be able to zap. .

I've got my vu+ duo and I must say it's a very good receiver. There are already different image teams active next to open pli.
Once again it would be a good idea to have a vu+ forum like dreambox has.
Vu+ official image makers don't stand still neather, for example new drivers were released on 27/9/2010. So there's a good follow up and service.

As I started this thread, I guess I should second that

There is a lot of stuff available for the Duo and Solo in the "All other Receivers" section, but it can be difficult to find.

A separate sub-forum for Duo and Solo would also be nice

i would like to have one duo , in base of your remarks i think that vu+ is better than dm and azbox but unfortunate i couldn't find it in my country

How does this suggestion get decided on? How do we know if a decision not to have a separate section for VU+ has been made?

I still think its a good idea - a quick look in "All Other Receivers" and there are so many duplicate posts for VU+, presumably because its difficult to find stuff hidden in long threads.

Or is it because people don't check if its already there before posting?

A separate section would make it a lot easier to find the stuff you need, in my opinion, as well as for Admin/Mods to delete duplicate posts.

I agree Sonc, it would be easier for members and staff if there was section for vu+ duo.
It's mister Satlover and his staff that decide to make seperate sections.
We can only make suggestions as this one.
I guess if there are many members suggesting the same topic, new section could be make.
Anyway a vu+ duo section would be great!! as it's a quality receiver

I think for now you can use "other receiver" section to speak about Vu Duo so all other users can read your posts, in this area I think not many will search posts about this box.

I think indeed it's better to post threads/issues about the vu+ (solo and duo) in the subforum other receivers. Over here me made the suggestion for vu+ forum like dreambox has one.
I'll post a thread in the subforum "other receivers" with title : let's talk about vu+ here
