Hi all
I've had the same problem here, yesterday.
I have only given kometar some question and that was enough to erase them, but it's okey if menner that it is out of place to write with other members and share experience
I lost 10 post. I am not here to have points only to have it nice and learn something

Not the same at all! Pan1100 his issue was technical counter problem and solved by admin. He's posts that were not according to rules were deleted and kept deleted. This is the case for all members.
Please re(read) rules and respect all rules, those posts have been deleted according to satlover rules. Use thank you button to thank member, no duplicates, no out of topic, only usefull posts, etc.....
You've received reason automaticly in pm.
You respect satlover his rules or you don't, your choise! So no reason for moaning, thank you. Satlover his rules are to be followed by all of us.

Now you got me going to start counting my posts ...

Just curious: this morning I looked and had 266 posts, didn't add any today until now (evening), and now the counter is on 265. Am I right that this means 1 post is deleted because of satlover rules? Again, if so: no problem, but also this time I didn't get a PM.

Wanted to check if this is normal, a bug or something I'm missing?

The entire thread Avira Premium Security Suite 9.0.0.355 was deleted because the user who started the thread has posted a live link.

You've made a reply there so your reply was deleted along the thread. For this reason you didn't got any warning.

Sorry, but still not 100% clear to me: do I get it right that there's no pm after deleting 'reply-posts', only on 'new-posts'? Can be, but doesn't seem logical to me.

Have to be honest, it is what it is, but it ennoys me when something isn't clear

Just wanted this to be clear for me, also if there isn't pm: no problem either.

no worries pan1100, ive had posts deleted like everyone else, but i never had pm about it, that to me seems a waste of time and extra unnessary work for all staff involved.

I completely agree with you, all clear now. I just started doubting after runmo wrote that after deleting there's some kind of automatically sent pm. No need for this pm for me (deleted is deleted anyway), but just wanted to inform admins/mods this pm is apparently not sent.

For me too, without further reaction, subject closed. Your feedback is much appreciated.

Just want to thrown inn that i have had one thread deleted and i got an pm about it. dont know if that was auto pm or personal pm but how ever it worked for me the one time i got an thread deleted.

This confirms what uttnls said: when a thread is deleted, only the poster who started the thread got pm, and all the others who replied not.

Just to add my query to the MODS that some of my posts (about 10-15) were deleted a few days ago. They were mostly technology news which I thought would be useful to the others and someone could benifit from them. The trouble with the technology News is that most of the time there are no screen shots available for them. I dont know how they got deleted but never got a PM about it.
If they were not according to the rules of the forum then thats fine but at least I would like a confirmation. Thank you

The deleted posts have reason as always and staff works in correct way. I won't keep repeating this. Sorry if you didn't got pm for it, because of technical reason.
But I confirm that posts have been deleted as usuall by staffmembers for correct reasons.
Yes somethimes it happens that when post must be delete, eventual reactions in this post are deleted to. This is the same for all of us. I've also lost/lose posts and never complained.
As toby said, end of discussion. Rules are rules for everyone. No need for further discussion.
Enough info/feedback have allready been given in this topic.
But in name of staff I appologize again in general if somethimes automatic pm isn't received by member after necessary and correct post delete.

I dont have the right to answer this question as you are asking directly the admin. However I have a suggestion: Please read through the thread, there are a lot of questions asked by the members including me, about the post deletion. The reason to this has benn explained many times by the Admin and Mods. You might find your answer in the previous posts by other members.
Please read the Forum Rules and think of your posts if they were according to the rules?

We all have had posts deleted in the past and even yesterday. So keep the good work and Post useful information. Good Luck

the staff will never (!) delete a posting with a helpful content,

but you always have to obey the rules, and if one of the staff has a 0,01 % doubt that a posting is against the rules, then we rather delete a posting than we bring this bord in danger,

as an example: content of "Irdeto", violating copyrights, warez, cracks and so on, and so on.

And for all readers here once again: a copy&paste of content from international and well known board is NOT a good contribution. Point.
