KODI addon not working -- Trial

Hi,

Just started a trial, installed the kodi add-on, entered the activation code, clicked the activate button and when trying to enter the addon -- it shows empty.
please advise how to test this with kodi... will appreciate your help..thanks

Managed to load the m3u playlist into the simple iptv client.
performance isn't brilliant and i'm getting squares over the picture at many cases.
is there something that can be done to improve streaming ?
Netflix works seamlessly at high resolutions so I guess my infrastructure is ok
