Server RTW?

How much Server -4,-3,-2 and -1 serve the members of this forum cannot be told with words. I doubt there is any other site that delivers this much to its non-paying members.

However, this site is largely seen by non-Europeans as an European site that serves people of the continent. Similar sites, of course nowhere near this good, covering Asia, Australia, Africa and the Americas fail miserably to achieve what this site has done.

What I'm trying to suggest here is why not have a server for the Rest of The World. I'm not suggesting delivering every single package imaginable. I'm suggesting including only a handful of packages but only those that can be accessed by a lot of people.

For instance: The free servers of this site covers pretty much everything up to 75E. Perhaps we could have one or two packages the footprints of which begin from 75e and go a significant distance eastwards, covering high number of viewers, not channels people want. Similarly, a few packages for latin america and the north would ensure that people of that region come on board.

What do you guys think?

I think you are asking for a bit too much. With the new members from other continents would also bring more strain on the servers. But don't they already have some packages from america open?

mr satlover serves a purpose for mostly europeans, no doubt if servers were extended, on present equiptment, quality would probably drop.

If we attracted more people from all over the world surely mr satlover would have to buy new equipment to handle all the extra users.
Think that is asking a lot of him as he already provides us with the best!

I wouldn't know about the US. As you can see I'm in Asia.

I think opening up even cband channels that cover Europe and other continents would get more people in and perhaps the donation of equipment or monetary would work.

BTW: I did not suggest opening up everything people want...just a few (just enough pay TV so that they don't stop watching TV). I don't know about you guys, but in most countries I have been to FTA channel programmes were appalling, with the exception of the UK.

Our 5 main terrestrial tv channels are very good and produce their own presentations wild life,documentaries tv series etc ,compared to the freeview /freesaty ch's they are quality ,sly could'nt lick the boots of the BBC for production content all they do is roll tapes and roll in the money ,you often hear people say i have 500 ch's and nothing worth watching,i think it was the movie the man who fell to earth where David bowie sat in front of 50 tv screens watching them all at once,never mind him its our brains that are getting pickled.
On the subject i think mr sat lover does enough for us.

This is only a guess, but I don't think it would be free if he did.
New servers, etc would cost a lot..
Yes he would get a viewers but nowhere near as many as he gets from europe.
yes it is a good proposition, and would be nice for all our friends in asia, etc.
But is it Feasible?

we'll see what happens ; as already said I'm very pleased here with the way it works ; before I found the thing with the posts and the wait between them a bit strange ; but now it seems more and more logical.

So for me personally, I'm not waiting for big changements.

I think the major problems faced by the member of this forums is the overloading of servers.
something should be done for restricting the posting of the free clines from this site to the other sites with the same profile

a suggestion would be for more members to report people posting satlovers lines on other forums.
