[Suggestion] Forum visibility

I think the forum will be more attractive if it continue like it is now. There is a lot of forums where they are closed and for me i dont want top creat account just to se a threwad that might help me on a problem. I was searching for something on ****** and i found it here without registering. I browsed through the forum and find out it is very interesing with all the good thread etc... so i joined it. And for the security, i think if police or anybody wants to infeltrate this community, it wont be a problem for them to register here.

So my oponion is no mate

Hello. I would suggest that the forum was only visible to registered members. Right now anyone can read many of the topics. There would be more "secure" to restrict access to members only?

Toby is right. The first impression is the last one. When people find it on ****** and read a couple of replies relating to their question. They like to register and most of the people who register in the forum stay with us. I found the forum the same way and since then playing my part as an active member.

That aint strictly fare toby69 theres a lot of good sites out there. If this was the best of the best there would be millions not thousands of members.

I think that certain parts of the forum are best kept hidden.
But then again it only takes 1 minute to register, so not really going to keep it secret.
I think the most important part is kept hidden till you make useful posts, probablyok as it is.

forum left visible, people have a good look and then become member, thats why satlovers is the best on the web, check members stats, and compare with other rubbish sites.

Correct and it really don't take long to registrate on our beloved website.
No hide and seek but visible main forum
The visibility of some free c-lines depend from the members post counter and that will certainly stay that way.

my opinion: I like it as it is ; attractive to new members to see a bit of what's going on here ; system with more posts = more/better lines is ok for me ; little suggestion (ref. other forums I know): there only after certain posts and/or after aproovement of admin/mod you have access to some kind of 'vip room' where more 'critical' issues can be discussed (so better filter of users for this section).

Agree it doesn't take long to registrate, but I'm not very quick to register at forums I don't know or haven't heard of ...

I think the problems mentioned in post 2 should be opened. All the other stuff like the free cccam servers just have to be hidden. Why should we hide solutions to problems? Maybe you'll get more registrations, but when some1 read his solution he's also gone..

So keep everything open; only the "important stuff (like cccam server for free) hidden..
I would see to have minimum of posts before you have acces to these free servers but well that's a different discussion !

Yes, keep main parts of the forum open to advertise.
people do a ****** search and then join the forum. Thats how I ended up here.
I think a lot of the problems have been solved with the personal cline.

Just to comment: I am sure there are other sites out there with millions of members. The number of members on our forum is less because we have strict rules. You follow the rule, play fair then you are in or don't follow the rules and don't play fair then you are out.
Quality always matter to us, not quantity!!!

Or even don't get an answer and wait for months, then you use alternate ways and find our forum.LOL
