"Someone has tried to log into your account"

I've had this 2 times today:

Dear User,

Someone has tried to log into your account on Satlover Forums with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 62.212.74.153

I think the IP is coming from Holland.
Anyone else a 'victim'?

Pan you can lookup and trace the ip and see if you find anything:

whatismyipaddress.com/ip-lookup

otherwise i think admin have some more info to you maybe.

Hi Admin, I hope this is the right place to ask, if not please move. I am wondering if there is some way I can retrieve my Login Password, I thought I had it written down but I can not find it, I am trying to login on my Desktop and am unable to as I can not remember the password. I normally use my laptop and the password is saved automatically on it. If it is possible can you send me a PM, if not possible then thank you for your time.

I may not be allowed to answer this question as its been asked directly from the admin but just trying to help.
*When you go to the main page. Click on "forgot your passowrd".
*It will take you to another page where you just put your email address, the one you use for satlover.
*It will send you a link/email or a temporary password immidiately to your email.
*Follow the link and enter the temporary password. Then change it from your control panel on you profile.
Its simple. Hope this helps!!

Hi microchick, yes that is what I was searching for but I still can not find it, which page are you referring to ? when you say the main page, I have looked on the forums page and checked anywhere I thought it might be probably suffering from Oldtimers disease


I just realized that you probably meant when I try to login on my desktop, Will go onto it now as I can not see that page on the laptop without logging out.

Mobley3 always use thta types of password which u can remeber well and which belong to u r personal but must contain special character .also if some one try to log in in u r acoount the special characters will protect u r account from hacking good luck
