The attachments are impossible be downloaded

In attention of the forum administrators,
I tried to download certain attachments but was impossible to realize it!
for example this attachment: http://www.satlover.com/forum/attach...dows-setup.rar

I use ****** chrome!
on click on it, a new tab its being opened but the download does not starts
on right click and selecting "save link as", a window shows up but instead of referring the rar file, a clear.gif it`s refereed.

What seems to be the problem?
Did other users experienced this issue on downloads?
If yes, please comment this thread and specify the link of the attachment you try to download unsuccessfully!

please, refer the link and detail the issue. specify please which browser do you use!

same here (tested only the mentioned attachment, with IE) ; if you say it's general, this really needs attention!

same issue using mozilla, chrome and internet explorer!

Can't recall what satellite forum it was but they did not have any attachments due to a server crash.

I know it now it was Satbox4all.nl

no it isn't general, can happen that some links are dead, links in older posts for example, share website that remome items there self, websites that have been closed,........
