    Upload failed

I keep getting upload failed with every type of file I try to upload. Am I right thinking I am allowed to upload .bin files? thanks in advance

    Re: Upload failed

As of yesterday, uploading .rar worked for me. But in the last two weeks everyone has been complaining with problems about uploading so its not just you.

It hasn't been working (though I've not tried it in the last couple of days). I have been uploading to a hosting site and posting the link to that instead.

            Re: Upload failed

I thought the problem had been fixed, as I've not had a problem uploading anything yesterday or today.

There has always been a filesize limit of about 1.5MB I think, so large files should be hosted somewhere else with a non-live link posted in your post.

Also certain types of files, e.g. .ipk, .gz, .bin, cannot be uploaded.

Valid file extensions are: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd rar tar txt zip

                        Re: Upload failed

When you click on MANAGE ATTACHMENTS, you got new window. There you can see ALL of allowed attachments, and limits for all extensions....

.BIN is not there, so you cannot attach that file - you MUST pack it....
