DM 800 Clone - removing Fan

I have 2 DM800 clones which have a Fan installed.
Both Fan's got very noisy in the meantime.
Am i ok to remove them?...

Here is what I did to get a cool dreambox with no noise:
1) I removed that noisy internal fan
2) I put the 12 v wires (those from the fan)...

take some plastic,in this case i have use one plastic cap of lnb's connector f.

cut it with scissors,and obtain one circle like washer....

Can I use any 12v fan in a DM800?

In particular, can I use a 12v .08A or a 12v 1.5A?

I think the standard fan is 12v 0.6A....
