TechnoTrend Görler has announced that its TT-micro S855 HbbTV satellite receiver is certified for Sky Deutschland’s CI Plus module.
With the appropriate CI Plus module and Sky Deuschland smart card people can watch the pay-TV operator’s channels. There is no need for a software update, as the functionality was already implemented by the manufacturer.
The TT-micro S855 HbbTV is a hybrid receiver, developed in Germany, and boasts a dual DVB-S2 tuner. It is certified for Astra’s German HD+ platform including the HD_ InterAktiv services, and supports the HbbTV standard.
The set also incorporates the internet browsers for direct access to internet delivered video. It acts as a media centre (via UPhP-AV) and is connected to the Shoutcast internet radio portal.
