Sky has launched its new Sky Sports News mobile application for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
The free-to-download app, which is timed to coincide with the launch of Sky Sports News HD, features all the latest stories from Sky Sports News.
Sponsored by Adidas, the app includes dedicated areas for football, cricket, rugby league, rugby union, golf, tennis, F1 and boxing, along with the Sky Sports News ticker.
Users can customise the layout to their own specifications, including options for live results, fixture lists and league tables.
The app also supports access to the new Sky Sports News radio service, which is streamed live over the Sky Sports website.
Sky Mobile TV subscribers will further be able to use the app to watch a live simulcast of the Sky Sports News channel, which was yesterday made exclusive to pay-TV platforms.
The Sky Sports News app is available now from Apple's App Store, where it joins the Sky News app, Sky Mobile TV, Sky Sports Football Score Centre and Cricket Score Centre, as well as the Sky+ remote record app.
