The viewers of German family channel Super RTL are now able to watch full-length shows they missed on television for free on the internet.
The video-on-demand portal Super RTL Now will supplement the catch-up services of fellow broadcasters RTL and VOX, dubbed RTL Now and VOX Now.
Available at _www.superrtlnow.de,The offer, which is mainly contains original productions which will be accessible 24 hours per day up to seven days after their initial TV broadcast.
As with RTL Now and VOX Now, the programmes remain available online after the seven day period, but not for free with prices for archived shows starting at €0.99 per episode. During the introductory period, free access is granted to most shows for 30 days.
With the catch-up service, Super RTL doesn’t only want to give viewers the possibility to watch programmes they missed or they want to see again, but also aims to attract new target groups which don’t yet know the commercial channel’s shows from television
