T-VIPS has announced the appointment of Lutz Germer as its regional sales manager for Germany. Germer is looking to further develop the digital video transport solutions company’s presence in the German market.
“This is an exciting role that will see me get involved in many aspects of our commercial operations, from marketing and communications through to sales,” says Germer. “I’m looking forward to adding even more strength and depth to our relationships with our business partner SHM Broadcast and key clients such as Media Broadcast and Astra Platform Services.”
Germer has held senior sales roles with Barco, Grass Valley/Thomson and Broadcast Television Systems/Philips. He has expertise across the video transport chain and has also built a reputation as an expert in the digital cinema market. He is based in Berlin and holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree from the Technische Universität Dresden.
