Liberty Global-owned Swiss cable operator Cablecom has extended its Fiber Power very high-speed internet service to Lucerne and Biel, following the launch of services in Zurich, Berne, Winterthur, St Gallen and certain regions in the western part of the country.
The latest expansion means that the service is now available to over 50% of the country’s households. Fiber Power delivers speeds of up to 100Mbps to customers. Cablecom is offering a 100Mbps service for CHF85 a month (€64), and 50Mbps for CHF60. The company has also made its 20Mbps service for CHF50 a month available to its entire subscriber base.
