News channel France 24 has launched in Turkey on DTH platform Digiturk.
The channel is available in Digiturk’s basic package to the operator’s 2.5 million customers.
The broadcaster has also signed a new distribution deal with broadcast services provider Genesis Networks to expand the distribution of its channel in Latin America using the Intelsat 9 satellite.
The satellite capacity covers most cable markets in Latin America. The channel, which broadcasts in French, English and Arabic, is already available in North America on the Galaxy 23 satellite, via several cable networks and some IPTV operators.
