The Spanish company Chispasat assigned to Space Systems / Loral (SS / L) the construction of the satellite Amazonas 3, which will be launched in 2012 intended for the orbital position of 61 W. Oneos satellite will have 33 Ku band transponders and 19 band C, which through different sets of emission will cover North and South America and Western Europe. The Amazonas 3 will replace the Amazonas 1, serving mainly pay DTH platforms offered by Telefonica in countries of South America.
