UK free-to-air broadcaster Channel 4 has struck an agreement with digital channel operator UKTV and will sell its advertising slots.
Under the terms of a ten-year deal, Channel 4 becomes UKTV’s sole advertising sales agent and will sell advertising across all of the ten UKTV linear channels and around its video-on-demand service and websites. The UKTV channel portfolio includes Watch, G.O.L.D., Dave, alibi and Good Food. It is a joint venture between the BBC’s commercial arm, BBC Worldwide, and UK MSO Virgin Media.
