NextRadioTV and NRJ to launch HD channels
French media groups NextRadioTV and NRJ are to launch two new high definition digital terrestrial channels.
The two companies have formed a joint venture to launch sports channel RMC Sport HD and family channel Cherie HD. RMC Sport HD will have an initial programming budget of €30m. This comes as commercial broadcasters TF1, M6 and Canal Plus are all expected to launch digital terrestrial channels over the coming year.
