Vintage TV, a UK channel aimed the over-50s, is launching on the BSkyB and Freesat platforms in September.
The channel will be programmed with content focused on popular music, culture, fashion and trends from the 1940s to the 1980s. Programming will also be available on demand from the channel’s website.
The channel was founded by David Pick, a former executive at record label EMI, and is being funded by investment house Communications Equity Associates.
