Coming Home: England Players Arrive In UK

Damien Pearse, Sky News Online England's football players have arrived back at Heathrow after their humiliating exit from the World Cup in South Africa.

The team landed on a Virgin Atlantic flight shortly after 6.20am.
Wearing grey suits and matching dark ties, they shuffled away from the cameras and out of public view into a private VIP lounge.
The players then filed though the terminal and into a fleet of people carriers heading for a five-star hotel in Hertfordshire.
Some of the players were already accompanied by family members.
They looked dejected and disappointed and were led off the plane by David Beckham, followed by Jamie Carragher and Michael Carrick.
Their subdued return was a far cry from the laughter among some team members caught on camera by photographers yesterday.
Ashley Cole and Ledley King were pictured sharing a joke as they left the team plane at Pilanesburg ahead of their return to the UK.
The pair feature on the front of two of the tabloids with one headline screaming "What A Joke".
Yesterday, Italian manager Fabio Capello claimed he wanted to stay at the helm despite the team's thrashing by the Germans.
But the Italian must wait two weeks to learn his fate.
Asked about the performance of his players, Capello said they were tired after their hectic Premier League season.
Thousands of disgruntled fans will return in the coming days following a shorter than expected South African trip.
At the airport in Bloemfontein yesterday, fans were rearranging flights and some were trying to sell off their tickets for the quarter and semi-finals.
Barry Pringle, 51, an administrator from Clacton-on-Sea, Es***, said: "We just want to get back to England as soon as possible now.
"I thought we was robbed again, as normal. They definitely need to bring in video technology."
