The German headend-in-the-sky service from Eutelsat Kabelkiosk has announced it has added the three HD channels from the ProSiebenSat.1 group on its platform. The distribution follows an agreement with the broadcaster.
ProSieben HD, Sat.1 HD and kabel eins HD will be part of the “free TV” offer alongside RTL HD and Vox HD, which is called KabelKiosk BasisHD. The channels are not available for DTH reception, but solely intended for feeding into cable headends of small and medium sized networks.
Individual satellite households have to subscribe to the HD+ package, which is available as a consumer DTH product on the Astra satellite.
