    Choose a LNB

    Hi Guys,
I'am back from Hollidays and found that my old 0.6db LNB for hot bird is dead.
    So i'am now wondering, do i buy a 0.3 , 0.2 or 0.1db ?
I believe that i heard something about the 0.1db who is hard to point or something.
So, i ask, what is now days a good LNB ?
    Thankl's in advance.

Don't look at these fake numbers ... a good brand is what you need (inverto, alps, etc etc)

Opticum LSP-02G is a good one ? I'am looking at it on Ebat in a German dealer for 8eur
      And i also see a Strong L701 for 7eur
Or if people know damn good LNB's for arround 5 - 10eur i'll be happy to hear from it.

Another LNB that is superb is the Inverto Black Ultra. They do it in single, twin & quad & also monoblock. I have used a monoblock on 13 & 19e with excellent results

              Hello cgac99

These numbers that you say are only marketing tricks from manufactures and they don't say the true.

Buy a known lnb as Inverto or Alps and you will never have any problem.

me having an mti ultra white 0 db for years with strong results but i think it is not anymore available.

so i would say inverto black smart oxid or technomate but which of three is best is also for me a matter of tests

                  Re: Choose a LNB

As many other mates stated, inverto has the best performance/price ratio and is your candidate choice.
If you want to spend some more, go for a Alps.
A good lnb is very important, so you will never have to fiddle around your dish (even worse if you have to work on a roof)

                      Re: Choose a LNB

As has been recommended by many already Inverto Black Ultra is the one to go for,
another one to look at is the Smart Titanium if you want something different.

                      Regards Mobley3

I would have thought he would have had to say what sort of dish he is using wether it is prime focus or offset before opinions are given

Well as the type of Lnb he said he was looking at on E **y are for offset dishes I would assume that this is the type of dish he has.

Thank's for all answers, and yes the dish with the dead LNB is a Offset.

I will buy an Inverto, i found that they are not so expensive and if it give good results, better.

For my other Dish , i will put some money in a Alps for get Hispasat that is the satelite i see mostly.

                              Thank's again for your help.
