Re: Diseqc switch problem
is never a lack of tension, is always weak signals, or lack of amplification, derived from a long installation of aerial cable.Leave a comment:

Re: Diseqc switch problem
first of all what do you expect when you buy a clonebox
second have you tried to use the advanced options
look at this tread

Re: Diseqc switch problem
dear tech1010
We can do only guess about your problem.
You must find the solution.
You must do some tests in order to find the cause of your problem.
Did you try to change your diseqc with a new one, different make ?
Keep in mind that many diseqc doesn't work properly with Dreambox,
especially these with 8-port.
I have hear good words about centauri 8-ports and of course about spaun but they are too much expensive...
Did you check your box about hardware problem ?
Finally,
are you sure about your settings in the box?Leave a comment:

Re: Diseqc switch problem
In my opinion
one of your receivers has problem.
You should measure the volts that the box is sending to diseqc by a polymeter.
A second solution to your problem, if boxes are ok, is to change the make of diseqc.
The quality of the diseqc you use may be very low.
You can try to buy a more expensive diseqc with better quality.

Re: Diseqc switch problem
I had a similar problem with diseqc, poorly worked, it turned out that the cable is not in order, but it was the fact that I put on the connector insulating tape, the tape threw, cable cleaned, now everything is working, the plastic box is not setLeave a comment:

Re: Diseqc switch problem
I think temperatures are not the problem. My switches work fine from -20°C up to 40°C.
@ valrug: My box is filled with fresh air, up to now no problem. Perhaps I could try to fill it up.

The main reason mostly is the low quality of the switch (if the other parameters are ok).Leave a comment:
