M6 group channels, which are already available via broadband internet and fibre, have joined Orange TV’s satellite offering on Astra, Hot Bird and AB3.
Women’s channel Téva and Paris Première are now available in HD on Astra Satellite, while M6 Music Hits joins on Astra satellite in SD.
Beginning February 9, these three channels will also be broadcast on Hot Bird Satellite in SD, while M6 HD will be added to Orange TV's channel lineup on Astra, Hot Bird and AB3. French DTT channel W9 HD will also join Orange TV channel on Astra.
From May 2012, the satellite offer will be enriched with Paris Première and Téva Replay service, joining the M6 Replay and W9 Replay service.
Orange continues to broadcast the M6 Boutique & Co channel, Best of shopping channel and the Girondins TV channel on Astra satellite.
“This partnership with the M6 group confirms Orange's content and service strategy, while further strengthening its content aggregator strategy,” the operator revealed in a statement.
