Austria's largest cable operator UPC Austria has added selected documentaries from pay-TV broadcaster Discovery Channel to its video-on-demand (VOD) portal UPC on Demand.
"Digital TV Plus" customers can access the programmes at no additional charge.
Further content providers for UPC Austria's VOD service include ATV, Nickelodeon and Red Bull.
In Germany, Discovery Channel recently commenced offering selected documentaries on the VOD service of cable operator Kabel BW in federal state Baden-Württemberg.
