The Spanish division of Fox International Channels (FIC) has bought into Prisa TV's tourism channel Viajar.
The company already distributes Fox, Fox HD, Fox Crime, National Geographic Channel National Geographic Channel HD, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Wild HD and Baby TV in Spain.
Viajar is one of Spain's most popular pay-TV channels. Prisa TV launched Viajar in 1997, coinciding with the launch of Spain's first satellite pay-TV operator Canal Satélite. The channel was one of the first ones on the platform and also in Spain.
