Cardlink + Original Provider Box = CS?

    Hi,
Has anyone had any experience with this device: http://www.cardlink.nl/

It is intended to give CS capabilities to receivers that do not have a network connection.

Im thinking - with it having CCcam onboard - you should be able to provide the Boxkey from your original providers box - pairing the card to the box.... Enabling you to use your original providers box (some of them have nice interfaces )

    Hardware:
    · ISO 7816 dual sided smartcard interface
    · 120Mhz RISC CPU
    · 576Kb Flash Rom
    · Status Leds
    · RJ45 Ethernet connector (10Base-T)

    Software:
    Card share protocol: Newcamd/Cardserver, NewCS
    Network protocols: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
Card emulation: Seca/Mediaguard, Irdeto, Viaccess, Conax
    Security: 3DES/MD5 encryption
    Built in webserver
    Software upgradeable

    Frequently asked questions(F.A.Q.)
Q: What kind of cardserver should i use?
A: Cardlink works with NewcamD and NewCS cardserver software, running on a dreambox, relook or linux-pc with CS software.

Q: What cards are supported for sharing?
A: Cardlink can currently emulate Seca, Irdeto, Viaccess and Conax cards.

Q: Which receivers do not work with Cardlink?
A: Some receivers with embdedded Irdeto or Viaccess don't work with the cardlink. However, most of them work fine. Please check the Isat.nl forum for a list of compatible receivers.

Q: How should i connect the powersupply?
A: The powersupply should be 6 Volts, the center tip is the + terminal.

Dislikes the Chinese Openbox Receivers, so much..
