cos i have my own that i keep clear and easy

as far i know
no e1=enigma1 images have hd channels
u dont say/write which receiver u have
but if u have a hd receiver then go for e2=enigma2 settings
the different settings are a kind of taste which 1 u best likes
they have all different kinds of favourites implemented
most images also have settings via blue button
or plugin button

i have adreambox 800hd would you recomend any paticulare sat list over another or are most more or les the same

if i update my box with this Catseye E2 Settings File 75 East-58 West and delet all sats i dont want how can i save the sat xml file so next time i update the sats it doesnt put sats i dont need on the system or can i edit the sat xml file before i upload it

Best practice to use DB Edit for backing up Channel list/satellites.xml. very easy First make few different folders for your backup on your pc and give them names you can easily remember for each backup as if you dont change the folder you will overwrite it each time.

If you use this site http://satellites-xml.eu/ to generate, you will have an up to date satellites.xml for the sats you need.

would i be ok installing these Malimali settings motor list E1 45E-30W and editing the xml file of the sats i dont want as there are a lot of diffrent motor satelite settings are any certain settings better than the other
also why do some of the sttings say E1 AND SOME SAY E2

just find the place where u store the
settings to dreamboxedit
and replace your xml
no need to use a different prog

i use dreambox edit is i possible to use that to do it or should i use a diffrent program but also useing my xml file will it then not update any transponders what have change freq or updated by adding channels or removeing channals

just download your xml file and spare it
when u downloaded Catseye E2
replace catseyes xml file with your own
