Re: Multiple C lines active
Are your ports opened to internet ? if not don't worry to much about backdors and trojans because you are running linux and more then that is in an embedded system

Re: Multiple C lines active
And server 2 freeze sometime but is far away from server 3
where can downloadJust trying to put something straigth.
My point was that when you connect to a server, you should also start a sniffer. You'ld be surprised how many uninvited guests knock on your door once your box announces the availibility of your IP address. Most service providers use stealth as the first line of defence for their customers. Connecting to an external camserver reveals your existance, which lures some people into thinking it might be interesting to further explore what is beyond your firewall, if you have one. And yes, that's where the backdoors and exploits start to kick in.Leave a comment:

Re: Multiple C lines active
That's got nothing to do with this topic masaker77, it's because the server 3 is always overloaded. If it is freezing and you are still connected, then it's the server being overworkd, but if you are freezing because you are disconnecting, its because someone else is trying to use the same c line as you. Check to see what is happening, if its through disconnection then find a different c line, if not, there is not much you can do apart from stay and get access to server 4 by contributing or pay for premium membership which entitles you to the highest quality servers and alot more other features which you will like.Leave a comment:

The best way to avoid what you are reffering to is to start by deny ping from WAN.Just trying to put something straigth.

Many scan tools skip IP's that don't respond to ping considering them as dead.
Of course in an explicit scan, that will not count as long as user is intendeed to scan that specific IPLeave a comment:

Astr1d, you see this bandwidth topic that you are discussing, does this affect only the actual card sharers or the users aswell? For example if you are just using the c line, will other "guests" become active on your bandwidth?Leave a comment:

If you use a password without common words, a bruteforce using dictionary will never be succesfully and if you use a password with length more then 10 caracters it will never manage to break it.
It remains the part with the backdors and bug exploits which is more dangerous in this daysLeave a comment:

Yes but sniffers and brutforcers increase inbound traffic mainlyRun some sniffer software on your pc like wireshark and you may/will notice a significant increase in traffic from outsiders trying to take a peek into your box and other machines that just happen to be on the same internet connection.
It is not only friends who share or claim to share! Use trusted servers only!Leave a comment:

Yes that was what we all didn't ask, so you are doing reshares.main factor must be different. i dont know deep knowledge about how cccam works but reason must be the people who use me as a bridge to access another servers cards. and also cardnumbers in the server, encrytion protocol (nds uses frequent request for example) etc must be small factor. that is my guess
That's the reason lets say you have permanent active somewhere to 20-30 users, then your traffic is justified
Give more details, you are using a dreambox, a unix server or what.
You can reshare to 7 users if you have enabled them to make also reshares then you'll never know how many users are infact connecting.
Tell me your configuration and will sugest you an software to monitor ECM's per clientLeave a comment:
