Telekom Slovenije ended the third quarter with 115,334 IPTV subscribers in its home market, Slovenia.
Although this was 13% more than a year earlier, its share of the country’s IPTV market fell by 1.1 percentage point to 61.2%. The telco also had 212,452 broadband subscribers at the end of Q3, or 1% more than a year earlier, while its share of the Slovenian broadband market was, at 44.7%, 2.8 percentage points down on September 2009.
Outside Slovenia, Telekom Slovenije had 56,000 digital cable subscribers in Kosovo at the end of Q3. Although the telco also launched a digital TV service in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Republika Srpska) in February this year, it has not yet provided any subscribers figures.
Telekom Slovenije had operating revenues of €633.3 million in the first nine months of this year, down from €637.2 million in the same period in 2009.
Its EBITDA amounted to €197.4 million (€209.6 million) and net profit €6.3 million (€37.8 million).
