Flashing via lan is not recomended becouse if something go wrong your box is dead and u must use rs232 with dreamup program

The safest way is by RS232, by flashing via LAN sometimes you may encounter strange behaviours

but i don't think that u can flash a img file into a nfi based box
img files are usually enigma 1

First of all I have a DM500 PLUS.
Dreamup works fine but only allows Nfi flashing on dm500 plus.
I have tried DreamEnum_0.90 or box IP in explorer.....this also only allows Nfi flashing on dm500 plus.
Tried FLASHWIZARD_6_3.......Box goes black.
I need someone with dm500 plus who has been able to flash an img file.

try to use dreamuplan
search it on ******
i know it takes img files
just tried it but couldent use it on my dm 800 cos of nfi files

I am able to flash my DM500plus with DreamUp which takes only Nfi files.
Cam someone please explain how to flash image files (img extension) for this box?
Procedure, cables........and software.
I have tried FLASHWIZARD_6_3 a couple of times but my box goes black.
Any detailed help before i brick my box?

my fault i didn't plug it in as soon as i received it and when i did the psu was dead!

I guess you have warranty. If not it is probably another internet scamming !

No problem it was £55 but i thought it was going to be brand new but someone had used it before me.
