Dream up 1.3.3.4 is the best version. ensure you have the RS232 driver installed on you PC.

It's not question of version of dreamup for dm800 it's more like a compatible image for your SIM

Everytime when i change image with rs232 with dream up app i had problems with uploading image to box.And after 1 day working i solve this issue somehow 1 time is to restart comp. 2nd is to cool dreambox 3 to disconnect pc from net ,4 to change dream up version,.......So if someone has this problem or know wath is the rеаson foр this please reply

First, it works for me on Windows 7 with no problem but I will say that I spent ages downloading different versions until I found one that would work. The one at Dream Multimedia did NOT work.

I had need because I tried to flash my Clone DM800HD with an incompatible image via the web interface.

After searching and signing up to more sat sites than I can remember, I eventually found one that worked for clones. All the others just threw back a comms error, something like "invalid command" and would not progress.

Hope there is a clue in there for you somewhere.

dreamUP is still necessary for dm500 only.
All new dreambox can be flashed with the bowser in the PC.
Some recent receivers can now be flashed with usb drive.

u can use web browser if u cant acces to web.The onli way is with rs232cable nd dream up

dont use old version of dream up. I have read many complaints about old version.

Usualy is recomended that using Dream Up with Win XP.

maybe win 7 is problem i dont have problems with xp
