Re: How mgcamd is installed in dm800se enigma2?

    Dear tech1010

Your problem has nothing to do with the web interface.

Btw, in order to get the web interface of your box, just type your dreambox's IP in the address bar and press "Enter".

Also, if you want to see the cccam info page, type in the address bar:
    dreambox's IP:16001

Info page for mgcamd doesn't exist.
You can only see some infos in the log file var/tmp , as I've already said before.

The freezing in mgcamd can be caused by many reasons:

-Maybe the image you now have, doesn't work properly with mgcamd.
-The line you have is only for use (or better working) with cccam.
-Maybe by using another version of mgcamd you will not get freezing.
-The mg_cfg is not properly optimizing and you have to edit some values.

Remember that you have to find the cause of the problem, and we, in the forum, can only make some suggestions.
Star testing your box until you find the cause of the problem.

I think that the log file of mgcamd is located in var/tmp

    edit...

I confused the web interface with the cccam info page as dear aplok obviusly did.

The web interface has nothing to do with the mgcamd.

    @tech1010
    What image you have?
Because some images have problems with mgcamd.

As @mahrkpat said, if you finish the installation of mgcamd, then you need to put a camd.list file in var/keys and an edit to mg_cfg (G: { 33 }).
Also, you can try a mgcamd line to see if it's working at all.

For mgcamd to work with c lines you need a camd.list file as well, it is in this that you type
or copy/paste your c line and then in mg_cfg edit G: so that mgcamd knows it is dealing
with CCcam, I suggested to set G: { 33 } like this so that it works with newcam and cccam
i.e sum 01=newcam +32=cccam=33 and you have to set permissions to 755.

no dear i just need mgcamd configuration. i trying hard from last one week to get dish tv on mgcamd but still unable to get it.. My c line is working well in cccam. But in mgcamd no channel is opening.. 1. Pls one more query is how many total files are there in mgcamd or in usr/keys after installing mgcamd.
    2. When i install mgcamd in softcams or from add ons. I get four files by default in usr/keys 1. Mg_cfg 2. Priority list 3. Replace. List 4. Softcam keys.. There are no other files like cccamd.list peer.cfg newcamd.list. Only then i was asking to install mgcamd manually.. Thanks.. I ll feel proud on this forum and my friends who ll guide me to solve my problem..

This is just a cut & paste job from me credit goes to MasterG on another forum
the only thing I am adding is that G:{33} set like this for c line and like aplok has
said for c line you need camd.list in which you copy and paste your line and the
permission of mg_cfg needs tobe set to 755 as well. It might give you idea.

How to : Mgcamd + Oscam SatelliteBG Conax
Here are working configs for SatelliteBG Conax using Mgcamd + Oscam for updating the monthly entitlements.

    when installed,
to convert cccam config into mgcam config, do this:

    cat /var/etc/CCcam.cfg >> /var/keys/cccamd.list

Actually i have installed mgcamd so many times in softcams menus.. But mgcamd not working.. Even when i put my c line in mgcamd conx channels too stop working.. Mgcamd is not working.. Then i am trying to install mgcamd with dcc.
