You can also send images with different ssl example ssl84b
I send the image first and then ssl84, then ssl84a ssl84b and then restart at the end decoder and all ok
the second stage should be those related to your template and your sim

not so, you can go straight from bootloader 84a to 84b, just find an image with 84b already attached to the image, i would recommend a pli based image for either 800hd or 800hd se. dreambox uk image by sat4fun team is the one i use. it lets you use 1channel plugin or better still movies online plugin (which has 1channel already on its list), and also if its an 800hd se then icefilms also works.

My thoughts exactly i normally falsh the image and to make sure before i reboot i flash the new bootloader as well works everytime

No ! Don't do it !
You must flash an image with the same second stage loader of your sim card ... or you'll get the "no ca found" error.

my dream box is not booting up it gets stuck at around half way does that mean i need to reflash

Internal flash is flash memory onboard the receiver.
External flash is a usb pendrive.
tspanel is a plugin (mainly system utilities).
