    Re: dm800 tune failed

Haven't had enough time but installed it last night and saw gains of 1 Dbl in D+ package SyFy channel which had signal of 11.5 with best lnb position and old tuner 401.
With new 801A tuner it got 12.5 dbl with some small adjustments!
Need to see if there's other improvements in HD channels especially DisneyHD 28E as reported from most of users.

    Ok, got the tuner ...
    here's some pictures...

Haven't been using new driver features for a while now, since I use old secondstage-dm800-75.nfi and saw on DreamBoxUpdate
    that they have newest secondstage-dm800-84.nfi
for all the newest images and now i'm considering input for Newenigma latest stable!

This is quite a redesigning here in my DM800 since I use old Nabilo BH v0.12 some two years already without needs of any updates!
Now as I'm back again to good old sat scene I'm eager of rolling up my sleeves a bit!!!

late already so will report back tomorrow on signal gains... (hopefully)

Its good, but from my region its very difficult to access the European Satellites. There is no chance with small dish and average type of STB.

Astra N1 is the only satellite on 28.2e that has 100% SNR, for some reason ALPS Tuners can handle this but Eardatek tuners can't.

I'll confirm that when I get my M tuner. Hope there will be no problems since there's bootloader 72.

orginal dm800 cost approx £400 GBP

Clone cost about £100 GBP + ALP Tuner £30 GBP
and I got about £10 GBP Refund for the bad tuner.

    you can do the maths.

Hello Vimmers, suppose question is directed to Rizwan or Bazinga.
My tuner hasn't yet arrived! In my case, it's DM800 HD original with these problems as well as lower signal reception. Reportedly signal boost is to 2 dcbl. or to 15-20%, which is awesome, as I understood.

You say BBC HD signal rate 62 on L rev. and afterwards on M 75%, it's a huge difference in boost, whole 15 percent !!!
Glad to have spent 37 euros that well.

just got my ALPS M tuner, it fixed the problem.

maybe the other tuner had design fault or maybe not compatible with sky mini dish and LNB.
