it should be located there, its on phpinfo.php

no, it's ok, I didn't see it

in fact it seems curl needs to be defined in the php.ini

modify php.ini adding :
extension=/usr/lib/libcurl.so.4.1.1

and restart apache
then test again

did not work,
php.ini did not exsist on /media/hdd/srv/php/lib/

so I had to create one.

i think that it refers to the directory where is located your binary file that you execute and dont run because request the libcurls.so.4.1.1 library

Im gonna guess its this location,
/media/hdd/srv/apache/libexec/

try to put /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4.1.1 in the directory where you got your program which doesn't work
