Its possible but the dm800 is not powerfull enough to download torrent, it either very slow or it crashes. works better on Vu+ Duo becuase it is faster than dm800

    what a coincident, I downloaded

    enigma2-plugin-extensions-transmission_1.76-r0

and in that package it contained these files:

    libcurl4_7.16.3-r2_mipsel.ipk <------------------------
    enigma2-plugin-extensions-transmission_1.76-r0_mipsel.ipk

this will be interesting, i will report back.

think about it, you find what you want to download, so you do it by rapidleech and its downloading on its own to the dreambox hard drive then you switch your computer off and watch some tv on your dreambox while its downloading a tv show or film and rapidleech will let you know when the download is complete by email.

the main purpose of rapidleech is downloads.
thats mean there isn't an alternative to rapidleech that doesn't require cURL and is PHP.

do you have a way to give me access in command line to your dbox?
dont know how to do that but I think we'll give it a rest here, im starting to think maybe curl is not compatible with the apache/php version I downloaded.
if anyone esle have any other solution please let us know.
I will still leave the apache & php setup as it is.
