    Flash NFI and IMG files into DM500 plus

    I have a DM500 plus and I can only flash with NFI files.
    I keep on seeing IMG files for DM500 plus.
    Can someone explain how to flash IMG files into a DM500 plus.
    I read about Enigma 1 & 2.
    Could this be the reason why i cannot flash IMG files into a DM500 plus?
