Thought of like a central storage repository, a user can upload documents, photos, music, or movies from any number of devices to their SpiderOak network and the data remains in sync and accessible from any connected device including mobile such as the iPhone.
A user may also synchronize and/or share specific folders across their SpiderOak network. For example, sync a folder of photos between Machine A and Machine B - or - share a business document with a colleague or client. The de-duplicated backup occurs automatically whenever additions, edits, or changes are made to the backup set. Historical versions and deleted files (deliberate or accidental) may be identified and retrieved by time-stamp. SpiderOak offers the first 2 GB free for life.
