Ultimate Edition 2.8 Is Based on Ubuntu 10.10
Now that Ubuntu 10.10 has been released, a big number of Linux distributions are now based on it. Ultimate Edition 2.8 makes no exception,
as it was built off Ubuntu 10.10.
Ultimate Edition 2.8 is an Ubuntu 10.10 based release that comes with many updates and upgrades, as well as 12 new applications.
Ultimate Edition 2.8 also bundles proprietary drivers, to get things running out-of-the-box, and plenty of packages for the power users.
If you like flashy themes, as many Compiz effects as your graphics card can handle,
and having everything plus the kitchen sink pre-installed, then Ultimate Edition 2.8 is the Linux distribution for you.
