Re: CCcam 2.3.0 Backdoor
But the knowing about a backdoor makes a strange feeling.
Nothing is absolutly safe and everyone who uses cams must know what he is doing.

Re: CCcam 2.3.0 Backdoor
Hello,
Not only cccam 2.3.0 is having a backdoor.
BlackHole image for VU receivers is coming with the ports 31335 and 31337, both of them well known ports used by trojan viruses (Elitte and Back Oriffice trojans).
VIX image, same thing.
Maybe will be a good practice to do a port scaning on your receiver/server.Leave a comment:

Re: CCcam 2.3.0 Backdoor
Yes, but the one that makes the risk takes the money! That's an old saying here in Balcans. It takes Cccam source code in order to embed exploit into it, as well as some knowledge too. It's safe to say that IHAD, unacknowledged mother of Cccam has always the earliest versions out to market first. I myself use 2.2.1 and it works very well.Leave a comment:

Re: CCcam 2.3.0 Backdoor
can somebody explain me why it is possible on the 2.3.0 and not on the 2.2.1.
I thing if it is true the same person can put this backdoor code on a 2.2.1 or 2.1.3 and set it on the web to download.
i thing too that it is a scare action. And nothing is 100% safe over the internet!Leave a comment:

Re: CCcam 2.3.0 Backdoor
frezz is stop i start use cccam 2.2.1Ppl here are asking how to disassemble Ccam when nobody have tools, and if there are some like mentioned here above than there's no coding knowledge to use it, so nothng real is posted anywayz!!!
There's shorter way to check behaviour of Cccam in log files which you can make.\
Like: WARNINGS when someone connects to your Cline in /tmp
Other files created by CCcam itself while running
warnings.txt ---> /tmp ---->
Here you will find attempted logins to CCcam without your authorization , this file will be shown only if you have this line in CCcam.cfgbe careful with this file as if you enable it and you have a lot of warnings you will run out of memory in your box.Code:LOG WARNINGS : /tmp/warnings.txt
There's a way for this script to be put in timeline in order to delete itself after some memory consumption so that your Dream doesn't freez itself!Leave a comment:

Re: CCcam 2.3.0 Backdoor
I amd using CCcam 2.3.0.
I set logging on my router that traces all activities to and from 176.9.242.159.
Nothing.
Now I should probably mention that I have dm800se with Open Pli 2.1
I installed cccam 2.3.0-r0 via the Plugins menu.
Of course it is always possible to get the cccam package from unsecured source and never know if it has been modified or not.Leave a comment:
